A Tradition of Excellence

1994:
As a distributor, Technifab began by distributing closed-cell foam materials with various densities and colors.

Skiving, die-cutting, vacuum-forming, and molding equipment was added to offer more service beyond distribution.

Technifab produces commercial products that includes knee-pads, hockey pads, packaging, and yoga blocks.

2002:
Technifab was acquired as a wholly owned subsidiary by Forest City Technologies, Inc.

With an influx of capital and resources, Technifab added processing capability including water-jet cutting and vacuum splitting technology.

2005:
Technifab began to explore a product manufactured by Zotefoams, PLC®. The material is Zotek® F, a lightweight, cross-linked, closed-cell (PolyVinyliDeneFluoride) PVDF foam that is flame resistant.

As a licensed stocking distributor of this material, Technifab committed engineering resources and capital to expand the manufacturing process. This led to a pursuit of opportunities focusing on the aerospace market.

Technifab's Quality System is approved to AS 9100 Revision C and ISO 9001:2008 without Design, validating the company's systems and resources within the aerospace market.

2006-Present:
Technifab supplies multiple product families that conform to Boeing process specification BAC5362, Forming of Thermoplastic Foams. Likewise, Technifab developed other product lines and continues to explore the limitless possibilities of our foam products.
